Summary Fiesta: A girl returns to her father's hacienda from Mexico City with her fiancé, a radio star, breaking the heart of her hometown boyfriend who's been waiting to propose. A plot develops to scare the big city man out of town.
Let's go collegiate: Musical-comedy about a college crew team that enlists the help of a truck driver when their best oarsman is drafted.
Up in the air: This murder mystery takes place at a radio station where an unpopular singer and other performers are murdered at the station. A page boy and his friend, the janitor, begin investigating the deaths with hopes to find the killer and also to get a chance to perform on the air. Supported by a hopeful singer and the station receptionist, the boys look into the killings while the singer fills in on the air. Our duo gets closer to the truth all the while the killer stalks them and the lovely new on air singer.
Minstrel man: A minstrel singer gives his daughter to another couple to raise when his wife dies in childbirth. He continues on tour with his career. When the daughter grows up, she becomes a performer. Father and daughter are re-united onstage to sing a tune he wrote.
Rhythm in the clouds: This musical comedy centers on a down-on-her luck songwriter. Desperate and hungry, she fakes a letter of admittance into the building where a rich composer resides. Once inside, she finds the composer is out of town and makes herself at home in his apartment. Things go well for her until the composer returns to find the young woman and his residence in disarray.
Sitting on the moon: A pair of songwriters fall for a former film star and her friend, but when a professional blackmailer claims he married the actress at a drunken wedding ceremony, the songwriter must prove otherwise. Songs include Lost in my dreams, How am I doin' with you and more.
