Note Serenata probably composed for a wedding celebration in Frankfurt between 1713 and 1716.
For vocal soloists (SSATB), chorus (SSA or SATB), and orchestra.
Most of the music composed by Telemann; music in numbers 2 and 49, 4, 15, and 30 arranged by Telemann from music composed by Nicolas Racot de Grandval (1676-1753), Thomas-Louis Bourgeois (1676-1750 or 1751), Monsieur de F......., and Jean-Pierre Guinard (died 1753), respectively in Recueil d'airs sérieux et à boire de différents auteurs pour l'année 1713 (Paris : Christophe Ballard).
Original portions of the libretto in German by Telemann; French portions of the libretto from pre-existing sources with German translations by Telemann; it is unclear if the French portions were intended to be sung in French or German.
