Summary The fabulous Dorseys: With encouragement from home, the Dorsey brothers leave Pennsylvania's coal mines for the concert halls and success.
Calendar girl: Set in a New York City boarding house in which reside aspiring actors, dancers and artists trying to make it big. A songwriter becomes upset when his girlfriend becomes the model for an artist living next door.
Sunny: Circus star meets the son of a weathly automobile manufacturer and they promptly fall in love. Some members of his upper crust family disapprove, and try to break up the wedding.
Swing hostess: Judy Alvin, an unemployed swing-band singer finds work as a switchboard operator at a juke box company. While working at the switchboard, she meets and falls for a handsome bandleader. This romance leads her back to the stage as the lead singer for her beau's band.
