Here are entered collections of sacred musical works in which spoken language is an integral part. Individual works and collections for a specific medium of performance are entered under the heading followed by the medium. The medium "instrumental ensemble" stands for two or more different solo instruments; "voice" for solo voice of high, low, or medium range; and "chorus" for men's, mixed, women's, or children's voices in two or more parts.
