Summary |
The American Advertising Federation sponsors the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC). Each year a corporate sponsor provides a case study outlining the history of its product and current advertising situation. Student teams identify potential problem areas and devise an integrated communications campaign. Each team "pitches" its campaign to a panel of judges, including top executives from the corporate sponsor. For 2012, Nissan which wanted to expand on its innovation for all branding campaign with a fresh approach to reach multicultural audiences. 1st place, University of Nebraska-Lincoln; 2nd place, University of Alabama; 3rd place, Johnson & Wales, University-Providence; 4th place, University of Miami. |
