Summary An opera-ballet written for Carnival and first performed in Paris in 1743, featuring comedy scenes rewritten by Corinne and Gilles Benizio in place of the lost originals. Don Quixote and Sancho Panza pass through the lands of the Duke and Duchess, who create an elaborate ruse in order to fool Don Quixote for their own amusement.
