| Summary |
Nanni Moretti stars as himself in this humorous film diary, about a man who takes off on his Vespa scooter across Italy in search of the true meaning of life. Moretti brings to the screen three moments of his life delineated in his diary: a solitary trip on a Vespa through a summery and semi-deserted Rome, a trip to the island of Eolie in search of an almost impossible tranquility, and the chronicle of a grave disease during a year of misdiagnoses. His reflections on reality are comedic but tinged with bitterness and irony. |
