| Summary |
Maqroll, Ilona and Abdul are three friends tied by a shared history of smuggling, whose collective adventures have taken them all over the world. After being separated for many years, Maqroll finds himself stranded in Panama City, where he is unexpectedly reunited with Ilona. Meanwhile, Abdul has just been released from prison in Ceuta, where he's trying to buy a steamship so that the three of them can resume their former life of travel and criminal capers together. Ilona and Maqroll open a brothel in Panama to help Abdul buy the ship. The profits begin to roll in and it seems as if everything is going according to plan until a mad young woman named Larissa comes to work at the brothel. |
