This report presents a three-year evaluation of the CPI, covering development of its research activities, its effect, and its sustainability. The authors conducted a series of in-depth interviews with key informants in the DPD and participants in previous CPI courses to gauge the success and impact of the program. Additionally, they used fiscal data provided by CPI staff and information about business models gained in interviews with heads of other police leadership programs to develop examples of how CPI might balance revenues and expenses in order to sustain itself. 588 0 Online resource. 590 JSTOR|bBooks at JSTOR Open Access 610 20 Caruth Police Institute|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ names/n2010054828|xEvaluation.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh00005674 610 27 Caruth Police Institute.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/ fast/1924187 650 0 Police training|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh85104257|zTexas|zDallas.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities /names/n79023321-781 650 0 Police|xStudy and teaching|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities /subjects/sh85104202|zTexas|zDallas.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/names/n79023321-781 650 7 Evaluation.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/916975 650 7 Police training.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1068706 650 7 Police|xStudy and teaching.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org /fast/1068524 650 7 Police.|2homoit|0https://homosaurus.org/v3/homoit0001119 651 7 Texas|zDallas.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1204635 655 4 Electronic books. 700 1 Iyengar, Radha,|d1980-|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ names/no2006051890|eauthor. 710 2 Rand Justice, Infrastructure, and Environment (Organization).|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ no2014024452|bSafety and Justice Program. 710 2 Rand Corporation.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ n78083407 710 2 Communities Foundation of Texas.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/names/n89638112 856 40 |uhttps://www.jstor.org/stable/10.7249/j.ctt5hhvkz|zOnline eBook.
