Summary |
Nicholas Angelich, a regular guest at the Verbier festival, performs here with the Ebene Quartet Franck's Piano quintet in F Minor. The work was composed in the winter of 1878-1879, a time during which some biographers suggest Franck was infatuated with one of his students. An ultra-expressive work. Follows Beethoven's beautiful String Quartet Op. 59 No. 1, "Razumovsky", composed in 1806. |
