Summary Theatrical dialogue between the American businessman Henry Ford and a woman interviewer. Mr. Ford discusses the era of the Great Depression, development of Detroit automobile industry, and the impact of cars and car economy on the 20th century American Society. The focus of this dialogue is on Ford Company and "Fordism", and life created for factory workers after the consumer revolution. This recording includes about 20 minutes of a documentary film, a PBS special program on Great Depression, entitled "A Job at Ford's".
