Summary |
There has been a trend towards a growing interest in religion, and with it has come increased interest in questions of the perceptibility and reality of God. In this search, semiotics, i.e. the theory of signs, has increasingly proved its worth as a suitable methodological aid. The studies collected in this volume attempt to mobilise semiotics for talking about God among theologians, in churches and in schools.
