A specialist of the Verdian music, the milanese conductor Gianandrea Noseda is back in Verbier to conduct the composer's gorgeous Requiem. We feared for his beautiful Tosca during the 2011 festival: Gianandrea Noseda goes back to Verbier to conduct another milestone from the Italian repertoire. To perform this sacred music masterpiece, Noseda brought the Teatro Regio di Torino's Choir, of which he is the music director. After the broadcast of Otello with Anna Netrebko on July 25, Noseda presented another side of the 200th year-old composer's personality. |
