For the most part, the essays focus on aspects of family, kinship and gender as they were to be found in what was, in the 1970s, a remote, rural community. Greek society has, of course, undergone profound changes over the last forty years, and these essays thus serve to document a way of life that has now virtually disappeared. Importantly, however, they also deal with the transformation of rural Greek society as it was occurring at the time. The book will appeal to social anthropologists, sociologists and historians of Modern Greece, and to anyone interested in rural Mediterranean society--back cover. 588 0 Print version record. 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 650 0 Ethnology|zGreece|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects /sh85045280|zMeganísi.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh00002445-781 650 7 Ethnology.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/916106 651 7 Greece|zMeganísi.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1291492 655 4 Electronic books. 776 08 |iPrint version:|aJust, Roger.|tLove in a changing Greek climate, and other essays.|dNewcastle upon Tyne, UK : Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2018|z1527511405 |w(OCoLC)1047550922 856 40 |uhttps://rider.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=2012270|zOnline ebook via EBSCO.
