Follow one of the most oustanding conductors of the young generation, the French Fayçal Karoui. Born in 1971, Fayçal Karoui studied music direction at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. He begun his professional career as the assistant of Michel Plasson at the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse (France) in 2001, after winning the first prize at the prestigious International Besançon Competition for Young Conductors. More than a musician, Fayçal Karoui is a genuine humanist who tries to bring classical music beyond its traditional audience by performing wherever it is possible, be it in prisons or hospitals. Between Pau, Paris and New York, the two movie directors Yohan Khatir and Raphaël de Vallès have followed the outstanding French conductor. |
