Yet the book goes beyond their accounts, for it not only defends the view that faith can be termed rational, but it also considers the different senses in which faith can be termed rational. While this book advances the idea that faith as a general category can be termed rational, it does not investigate in a detailed way whether there are arguments for the rationality of particular faiths which would go beyond the arguments for the rationality of faith as a general category. Besides discussing whether betting on God in Pascals wager and believing in miracles are forms of the rationality of faith, I will provide unique solutions to the problem of evil and the paradoxes of omnipotence and omniscience. 588 0 Print version record. 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 650 0 Faith and reason.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects /sh85046933 650 0 Belief and doubt.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects /sh85013004 650 0 Religion|xPhilosophy.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85112554 650 0 Knowledge, Theory of.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85072732 650 0 Theodicy.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh85134644 650 0 God|xProof.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh85055549 650 7 Faith and reason.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 919959 650 7 Belief and doubt.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 830124 650 7 Religion|xPhilosophy.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1093794 650 7 Knowledge, Theory of.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 988194 650 7 Theodicy.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1149507 650 7 God|xProof.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/944100 655 4 Electronic books. 776 08 |iPrint version:|aLedwig, Marion, 1968-|tGod's rational warriors.|dFrankfurt ; Lancaster : Ontos Verlag, 2008 |z9783938793879|w(OCoLC)213874727 856 40 |uhttps://rider.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=603496|zOnline eBook via EBSCO.
