Meet a young dance company based in Marseille, France: Le Ballet d'Europe. Le Ballet d'Europe, founded and directed by Jean-Charles Gil, is a professional dance company made up of 14 young dancers aged from 20 to 35 years old coming from all over the world. In search of universality in art, Jean-Charles Gil took the gamble of putting together nationalities to perform unusual contemporary choregraphic creations. This documentary presents this cultural and human challenge. It combines clips from the ballet's performances in France and Near-East (Syria & amp; Jordan), rehearsals, interviews, training and auditions in Marseille as well as archive footages of the Ballet since its creation in 2003.
