Summary |
Composed in 1931 by Dmitri Shostakovich, The Bolt, after a book by Viktor Smirnov, is staged for the first time in more than 70 years. Choreographer Alexei Ratmansky conceived for the Bolshoi, a ballet of the absurd set in a Soviet factory where robots tower over human beings and ending with a blood red grand parade. |
