The first part, comprising two chapters, is philosophical in nature and deals with the concepts that define the underlying structure of the MCDM paradigm. The second part is the largest part consisting of five chapters, each of which presents the logic of a specific MCDM technique, and demonstrates how it can be used to model a particular decision problem. In the final part, some selected applications of the MCDM techniques to agricultural problems are presented and thus reinforce the development of an understanding of the MCDM paradigm. The book has been designed for use at different levels: as a textbook for final year undergraduate and postgraduate courses in modelling for decision-making; as a manual for researchers and practising modellers; and, as general reference on the application of MCDM techniques. Readers with basic appreciation of algebra and linear programming can easily follow the contents of this book. 588 0 Print version record. 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 650 0 Agriculture|xEconomic aspects|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh85002427|xDecision making.|0https:/ /id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh99005493 650 7 Agriculture|xEconomic aspects|xDecision making.|2fast |0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/801430 650 7 Agriculture|xEconomic aspects.|2fast|0https:// id.worldcat.org/fast/801415 655 4 Electronic books. 700 1 Rehman, T.|q(Tahir)|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ n82263468 776 08 |iPrint version:|aRomero, Carlos, 1946-|tMultiple criteria analysis for agricultural decisions.|b2nd ed.|dAmsterdam ; Boston : Elsevier, 2003|z0444503439|w(DLC) 2003040895 |w(OCoLC)51653281 830 0 Developments in agricultural economics ;|0https:// id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n42032677|v11. 856 40 |uhttps://rider.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=205671|zOnline eBook.
