Summary |
When a New York newspaper's editor finds that his paper is to be sold to its bland and powers-that-be-appeasing crosstown rival, he's delighted--the forced unemployment should give him plenty of time to charm his ex-wife back into his arms. But when a fellow writer is badly beaten at the hands of a ruthless gangster, he's reinspired. He's got three days and three issues to tie the mobster to a woman's murder--could he possibly make this ultimate deadline? |
