Summary "This is a 'warts 'n' all' recording, as it was not possible to rectify all of the organ's faults in the time available. Ciphers are heard on some tracks; some notes occasionally do not sound; and the tuning leaves a lot to be desired in places. It has to be said, too, that the playing is not always of the highest standard. Nevertheless, we at A.C.C.H.O.S. believe it was right to make this recording, both to generate interest in the instrument and to capture its diverse tones and huge dynamic range (although we accept that no hi-fi system can recreate how the instrument feels in the building)."--Notes, p.
