Summary The Sonderkommandos primarily consisted of Jewish prisoners who were forced by the Germans to facilitate in their own mass extermination. This book consists of interviews with the few surviving Sonderkommandos, describing the unparalleled horror of death camps such as Auschwitz-Birkenau.
