There is correspondence with women friends and colleagues from childhood to old age, on a vast range of subjects. Correspondents include old family friends, royal and notable personages, nuns and colleagues in various causes. Most of this material has not been published before and some letters wil be new even to Nightingale scholars. Altogether a very different view of Nightingale emerges from what normally appears in biographies and other secondary sources. This material will enable a new assessment of her feminism, her relations with women and her contribution to improving the status of women of her time. 588 0 Print version record. 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 600 10 Nightingale, Florence,|d1820-1910|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/names/n79103647|xPolitical and social views. |0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh2002011435 600 10 Nightingale, Florence,|d1820-1910|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/names/n79103647|vCorrespondence.|0https:// id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh99001488 600 14 Nightingale, Florence,|d1820-1910. 600 16 Nightingale, Florence,|d1820-1910|xPensée politique et sociale. 600 16 Nightingale, Florence,|d1820-1910|vCorrespondance. 600 17 Nightingale, Florence,|d1820-1910.|2fast|0https:// id.worldcat.org/fast/42325 648 7 19th century|2fast 648 7 1800 - 1899|2fast 650 0 Women|zGreat Britain|xSocial conditions|0https:// id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh2010118922|y19th century.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh2002012475 650 0 Women's health services|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85147744|zGreat Britain.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/names/n79023147-781 650 0 Women's hospitals|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects /sh97003312|zGreat Britain.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/names/n79023147-781 650 7 Political and social views.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org /fast/1353986 650 7 Women.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1176568 650 7 Social conditions.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1919811 650 7 Women's health services.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/ fast/1178737 650 7 Women's hospitals.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1178754 650 7 Women.|2homoit|0https://homosaurus.org/v3/homoit0001509 650 7 Womyn.|2homoit|0https://homosaurus.org/v3/homoit0001516 651 7 Great Britain.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1204623 655 4 Electronic books. 655 7 Correspondence.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 2003288 655 7 Records and correspondence.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org /fast/1423917 655 7 Personal correspondence.|2lcgft|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/genreForms/gf2014026141 655 7 Personal correspondence.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/ fast/1919948 700 1 McDonald, Lynn,|d1940-|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ names/n50007349 776 08 |iPrint version:|aNightingale, Florence, 1820-1910. |tFlorence Nightingale on women, medicine, midwifery and prostitution.|dWaterloo, Ont. : Wilfrid Laurier University Press, ©2005|z0889204659|w(OCoLC)61127992 800 1 Nightingale, Florence,|d1820-1910.|tWorks.|f2001 ;|0https: //id.loc.gov/authorities/names/no2002084257|vv. 8. 856 40 |uhttps://rider.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=135474|zOnline eBook.
