Handwritten manuscript in ink which may be a copy of a 1642 work by Rich (Cartwright). On back of front cover is written in pencil "Rich" in handwritting different from that of the writer of the manuscript. Pages 9 and 13 state "Samuel Palmer his book, 1669". |

Stored in minilla envelope by Louis A. Leslie. Envelope has note "1642 Rich (Cartwright), This manuscript copy made by Samuel Palmer, 1669, cf. pp. 9 &13. See p 186 in NYPL Catalog. This MS copy contains many interesting items: ppl 38-39 Palmer's accounts for 1671-1673, a poem "On the death of his dear school fellow, etc" in upper left corner. Envelope also has four orange star stickers on front. |
