A variety of non-neoplastic conditions are covered, including transplant pathology, diabetes mellitus and pancreatitis. Neoplasms are emphasized. The difficulties encountered with frozen section diagnosis, cytopathology, and tumor classification systems are addressed. Common and rare conditions of pancreas, gallbladder, extrahepatic biliary tract and ampullary regions are all extensively reviewed.
