The editor and his nine contributors provide detailed textual analyses of the inscriptions found on excavated bronze vessels. Their essays offer careful reconstructions of the genealogies, kinship structures, political identities, and relationship networks of leading court figures from Bronze-Age China. This rich scholarship makes important contributions to ancient Chinese archaeology by bringing to light archaeological evidence in support of new discoveries related to the chronology, warfare, and legal structure of the different realms that existed during the Western Zhou period. 546 Some text also in Chinese. 588 0 Print version record. 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 648 7 To 221 B.C|2fast 648 7 To 221 B.C.|2fast 650 0 Bronzes, Chinese|yTo 221 B.C.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh85017164 650 0 Inscriptions, Chinese.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85066583 650 0 Kinship|zChina|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh2008122895|xHistory|vSources.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh2002012008 650 0 Archaeology and history|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85006513|zChina.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/names/n79091151-781 650 7 Bronzes, Chinese.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 839562 650 7 Inscriptions, Chinese.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast /973859 650 7 Kinship.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/987769 650 7 History.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/958235 650 7 Archaeology and history.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/ fast/813004 650 7 Antiquities.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/810745 651 0 China|xAntiquities.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85023988 651 7 China.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1206073 655 4 Electronic books. 655 7 Sources.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1423900 655 7 History.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1411628 700 1 Shaughnessy, Edward L.,|d1952-|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/names/n90602124|eeditor. 710 2 Chinese University of Hong Kong.|bInstitute of Chinese Studies,|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n81124963 |eissuing body. 710 2 University of Chicago,|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ names/n79058404|ehost institution. 776 08 |iPrint version:|tImprints of kinship.|d[Hong Kong] : The Chinese University Press, [2017]|z9789629966393 |w(OCoLC)880566060 830 0 ICS monograph ;|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ no2015034071|vno. 17. 856 40 |uhttps://rider.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=2171777|zOnline eBook via EBSCO.
