In The Edinburgh Companion to the Gothic and the Arts, the range of essays run from medieval architecture and design to contemporary gaming and internet fiction; from classical painting to the modern novel; from ballet and dance to contemporary Goth music. The contributors include many of the best-known critics of the Gothic (e.g., Hogle, Punter, Spooner, Bruhm) as well as newer names such as Kirk and Round. The editor has put all these contributors in touch with each other in the preparation of their essays in order to ensure the maximum benefit to the reader by producing a well-integrated book which will prove much more than a collection of disparate essays, but rather a distinctive contribution to a field. 588 0 Print version record. 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 650 0 Arts, Gothic.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh85008392 650 0 Art, Gothic.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh85007682 650 0 Gothic fiction (Literary genre)|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh2008020084 650 0 Gothic revival (Architecture)|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh85055996 650 0 Gothic revival (Literature)|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh85055998 650 7 Arts, Gothic.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/818048 650 7 Art, Gothic.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/816331 650 7 Gothic fiction (Literary genre)|2fast|0https:// id.worldcat.org/fast/1745235 650 7 Gothic revival (Architecture)|2fast|0https:// id.worldcat.org/fast/945078 650 7 Gothic revival (Literature)|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org /fast/945084 655 4 Electronic books. 700 1 Punter, David,|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ n79143497|eeditor. 776 08 |iPrint version:|tEdinburgh companion to gothic and the arts.|dEdinburgh : Edinburgh University Press 2019 |z9781474432351|w(OCoLC)1086340370 830 0 Edinburgh companions to literature and the humanities. |0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/no2019064109 856 40 |uhttps://rider.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=2409617|zOnline ebook via EBSCO.
