Divided into 5 historically and thematically arranged sections, the 28 chapters foreground the shifting significance of art forms throughout Pound's life which he spent in London, Paris, Rapallo and Washington. The Companion maps Pound's practices of engagement with the arts, deepening areas of study that have recently emerged, such as his musical compositions. At the same time, it opens up new fields, particularly Pound's interaction with the performing arts: opera, dance, and cinema. The volume demonstrates overall that Ezra Pound was no mere spectator of the modernist revolution in the arts; rather he was an agent of change, a doer and promoter who also had a deep emotional response to the arts. 588 0 Print version record. 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 600 10 Pound, Ezra,|d1885-1972|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ names/n78097014|xKnowledge and learning|0https:// id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh2002011409|xArts. 600 17 Pound, Ezra,|d1885-1972.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/ fast/29337 650 0 Modernism (Art)|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh85086445 650 7 Arts.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/817721 650 7 Modernism (Art)|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1024442 655 0 Electronic books. 655 4 Electronic books. 700 1 Preda, Roxana,|d1959-|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ names/n00085700|eeditor. 776 08 |iPrint version:|tEdinburgh companion to Ezra Pound and the arts.|dEdinburgh : Edinburgh University Press, [2019] |z1474429173|w(OCoLC)1039935250 830 0 Edinburgh companions to literature.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/names/no2016073946 856 40 |uhttps://rider.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=2409616|zOnline ebook via EBSCO.
