Biography The Tams-Witmark Music Library supplied rental scores for operas, popular musicals, orchestral and choral works from ca. 1925-1941.
Summary The collection consists of full and vocal scores and orchestra parts of oratorios, masses, operas, sacred and secular cantatas, and choruses for mixed, women's, men's and children's choirs, published largely 1870-1920 in England and the U.S. Especially well represented are the publications of Novello and Co. Many works are in copyists hand and many have performance markings.

Note Composers especially well represented include Frederick H. Cowen, Niels Gade, Alfred R. Gaul, Charles Gounod, Eduardo Marzo, Felix Mendelssohn, George F. Root, and Robert Schumann.
