This polis was occupied for a short period of time, for eighty-four years at the most, and was then violently destroyed, leaving tens of thousands of artifacts on the final floors of its houses, and for the most part never reoccupied. A large part of the city was excavated between 1928 and 1938 by David M. Robinson, who published his findings in fourteen massive volumes. The archaeology of Olynthus offers a fuller and richer picture of Greek domestic and civic life than almost any other Greek site. 588 0 Print version record. 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 650 0 City planning|zGreece|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh2009119748|zOlynthus (Extinct city)|0https:// id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh2001003775-781 650 0 Dwellings|zGreece|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects /sh86001833|zOlynthus (Extinct city)|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh2001003775-781 650 7 City planning.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/862177 650 7 Dwellings.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/899978 651 0 Olynthus (Extinct city)|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh2001003775|xBuildings, structures, etc.|0https: //id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh99004820 651 7 Greece|zOlynthus (Extinct city)|2fast|0https:// id.worldcat.org/fast/1897221 655 4 Electronic books. 776 08 |iPrint version:|aCahill, Nicholas.|tHousehold and city organization at Olynthus.|dNew Haven, Conn. : Yale University Press, ©2002|w(DLC) 2001026769 856 40 |uhttps://rider.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=187983|zOnline eBook.
