Summary |
An incomplete set consisting of stereograph photographs created and distributed by the Keystone View Company documenting places and peoples around the world, ca. 1929. Each stereograph card has a detailed discussion of the image subject matter printed on its verso. In addition to specific places, subject matter of the images include street scenes, natural landscapes, cities, religious buildings, portraits of individuals and groups, water vessels, and animals. In the western United States places include the San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, and Mount Shasta, California; Mount Hood and Columbia River, Oregon; Seattle and Mount Rainier National Park, Washington; the Arctic Circle, Alaska; Glacier National Park, Montana; Yellowstone National Park; Salt Lake City and Bryce Canyon, Utah; Grand Canyon and Salt River Valley, Arizona; and the Royal Gorge of the Grand Canyon of the Arkansas, near Canyon City, Colorado. |
