Throughout, the main theme is to present the interaction of partial differential equations and differential geometry. More specifically, emphasis is placed on how the behavior of the solutions of a PDE is affected by the geometry of the underlying manifold and vice versa. For efficiency the author mainly restricts himself to the linear theory and only a rudimentary background in Riemannian geometry and partial differential equations is assumed. Originating from the author's own lectures, this book is an ideal introduction for graduate students, as well as a useful reference for experts in the field. 588 0 Print version record. 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 650 0 Geometric analysis.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh2008008771 650 7 Geometric analysis.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1747051 655 4 Electronic books. 776 08 |iPrint version:|aLi, Peter, 1952-|tGeometric analysis. |dCambridge : Cambridge University Press, 2012 |z9781107020641|w(DLC) 2011051365|w(OCoLC)774016638 830 0 Cambridge studies in advanced mathematics ;|0https:// id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n84708314|v134. 856 40 |uhttps://rider.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=451674|zOnline eBook via EBSCO.
