Three misconceptions are addressed: the idea that Aquinas' speculative Trinitarian theology is detached from Scripture; the supposition that in Aquinas' understanding, the Father's relation to the Holy Spirit is an afterthought to the Father's relation to the Son; and the view that for Thomas, the Father has no proper mode of action in the created universe. 588 0 Print version record. 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 600 00 Thomas,|cAquinas, Saint,|d1225?-1274.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/names/n78095790 600 04 Thomas,|cAquinas,|d1225?-1274. 600 07 Thomas,|cAquinas, Saint,|d1225?-1274.|2fast|0https:// id.worldcat.org/fast/29176 650 0 God (Christianity)|xFatherhood|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh2006004329|xHistory of doctrines. |0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh00006055 650 0 Trinity|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh85137555|xHistory of doctrines.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh00006055 650 7 God (Christianity)|xFatherhood.|2fast|0https:// id.worldcat.org/fast/1765758 650 7 Trinity|xHistory of doctrines.|2fast|0https:// id.worldcat.org/fast/1156782 650 7 Trinity.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1156777 655 4 Electronic books. 776 08 |iPrint version:|z9781433120688|z1433120682|w(DLC) 2012020330 830 0 American university studies.|nSeries VII,|pTheology and religion ;|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n83708732 |vv. 324. 856 40 |uhttps://rider.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=508845|zOnline eBook.
