Although relationship-based services could help caregivers to deal with such issues at the family level, numerous obstacles prevent adequate screening and identification, referral, and service delivery. The Helping Families Raise Healthy Children initiative implemented in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, addressed these challenges by training and supporting both early intervention and behavioral health providers in relationship-based care. The relationship-based care approach helped providers in both systems focus on the parent-child relationship in their work with the family. The initiative also addressed some of the logistical barriers to engagement in behavioral health treatment by providing in-home behavioral health services to families in need. The lessons learned from the initiative helped shape the recommendations for implementing the type of effort outlined in this tool kit, which provides information and resources for implementing depression screening within the early intervention system, strengthening cross-system collaborations, and implementing relationship-based care in the early intervention and behavioral health systems. 546 English. 588 0 Description based on online resource; title from electronic title page (JSTOR, viewed February 1, 2018). 590 JSTOR|bBooks at JSTOR Open Access 610 20 Helping Families Raise Healthy Children (Project)|0https:/ /id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n2013181768 610 27 Helping Families Raise Healthy Children (Project)|2fast |0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1998535 650 0 Depression, Mental.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85037053 650 0 Parenting|xPsychological aspects.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh2008108913 650 0 Community mental health services.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh85029245 650 0 Children|xHealth and hygiene.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh85023425 650 0 Child development.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85023357 650 0 Parent and child.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects /sh85097980 650 7 Depression, Mental.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 890931 650 7 Parenting|xPsychological aspects.|2fast|0https:// id.worldcat.org/fast/1053419 650 7 Community mental health services.|2fast|0https:// id.worldcat.org/fast/871055 650 7 Children|xHealth and hygiene.|2fast|0https:// id.worldcat.org/fast/854953 650 7 Child development.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 854393 650 7 Parent and child.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1053308 650 7 Children.|2homoit|0https://homosaurus.org/v3/homoit0000255 655 0 Electronic books. 655 4 Electronic books. 710 2 RAND Health,|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ n2001145525|eissuing body. 710 2 Community Care Behavioral Health Organization,|0https:// id.loc.gov/authorities/names/no2013029776|esupporting body. 776 08 |iPrint version:|tToolkit for implementing parental depression screening, referral, and treatment across systems.|dSanta Monica, CA : RAND, 2012|z9780833078575 |w(DLC) 2012955401|w(OCoLC)822227497 856 40 |uhttps://www.jstor.org/stable/10.7249/j.ctt3fh0rq|zOnline eBook.
