Summary
Shows and tells the history, spanning nearly fifty years, of the Mexican American miners in the Morenci and Clifton region, Arizona, and their union's battle for non-discriminatory, fair labor practices in the copper industry, including their efforts to receive wages and benefits equal to those of white workers resulted in strikes, forcing the Phelps-Dodge Corporation to recognize their union after World War II.
