The Zohar is unique among Jewish mystical texts in continuously introducing and punctuating its teachings with references to its mystical adepts' 'walking along the road'. By carefully cataloguing and analyzing the use of the walking motif, this study seeks to show that it expresses a concern of the Zohar that is surprising for a mystical text: to recognise the steady, if problematic, presence of a non-mystical dimension to reality, the domain of the mundane. 588 0 Print version record. 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 630 00 Zohar.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n85368564 630 7 Zohar.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1357178 650 0 Cabala.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh85018546 650 0 Mysticism|xJudaism.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85089355 650 0 Walking in literature.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh94009030 650 0 Jewish literature|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects /sh85070300|xThemes, motives.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh2001008982 650 7 Cabala.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/843481 650 7 Mysticism|xJudaism.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1031646 650 7 Walking in literature.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast /1170083 650 7 Jewish literature.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 982834 650 7 Themes, motives.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1355139 655 4 Electronic books. 776 08 |iPrint version:|z9780804788335|z0804788332|w(DLC) 2013039097 856 40 |uhttps://rider.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=713517|zOnline eBook.
