Summary A musical romance with classic Mexican songs and dances. Chatita a Mexican cantina singer is in love with the cantina's lead dancer Pancho. A famous Mexican city theater owner comes to their small town to audition Pancho for a contract with his company. Chatita decides to mess up the audition in hopes that Pancho will not get the job and stay at their cantina.
