The logic behind this latter view has now been largely lost. Offering a revised history, Nancy Reynolds looks to the decades leading up to the fire to show that the lines between foreign and native in city space and commercial merchandise were never so starkly drawn. Consumer goods occupied an uneasy place on anti-colonial agendas for decades. 588 0 Print version record. 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 647 7 Revolution|c(Egypt :|d1952)|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org /fast/1354507 648 7 20th century|2fast 648 7 1919-1952|2fast 648 7 1900 - 1999|2fast 650 0 Consumption (Economics)|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85031498|zEgypt|zCairo|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/names/n79055723-781|xHistory|y20th century. |0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh2002006165 650 0 Nationalism|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh85090150|xEconomic aspects|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh99005484|zEgypt.|0https:// id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n80061791-781 650 7 Consumption (Economics)|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/ fast/876455 650 7 History.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/958235 650 7 Nationalism|xEconomic aspects.|2fast|0https:// id.worldcat.org/fast/1033838 650 7 Nationalism.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1033832 650 7 Politics and government.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/ fast/1919741 651 0 Cairo (Egypt)|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ n79055723|xCommerce|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh99001412|xHistory|y20th century.|0https:// id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh2002006165 651 0 Egypt|xPolitics and government|y1919-1952.|0https:// id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85041323 651 0 Egypt|xHistory|yRevolution, 1952.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh85041308 651 7 Egypt|zCairo.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1205204 651 7 Egypt.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1208755 655 4 Electronic books. 655 7 History.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1411628 776 08 |iPrint version:|aReynolds, Nancy Y.|tCity consumed. |dStanford, California : Stanford University Press, ©2012 |z9780804781268|w(DLC) 2012001451|w(OCoLC)764360943 856 40 |uhttps://rider.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=713295|zOnline eBook.
