This includes, amongst others, a description of places of correspondence listed in each surviving newspaper. The bibliography is accompanied by an extensive introduction of the Dutch and Flemish press in the seventeenth century. What emerges is a picture of a highly competitive and dynamic market for news, in which innovative publishers constantly adapt to the changing tastes of customers and pressures from authorities at home and abroad. 588 0 Description based upon online resource; title from PDF title page (viewed April 28, 2020). 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 648 7 17th century|2fast 648 7 1600-1699|2fast 650 0 Dutch newspapers|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh85040122|vBibliography.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh99001362 650 0 Newspaper publishing|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85091583|zNetherlands|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/names/n78085423-781|xHistory|y17th century. |0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh2002006123 650 0 Flemish newspapers|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85049074|zBelgium|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/names/n80126041-781|vBibliography.|0https:// id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh99001362 650 0 Newspaper publishing|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85091583|zBelgium|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/names/n80126041-781|xHistory|y17th century. |0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh2002006123 650 7 Dutch newspapers.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 899865 650 7 Newspaper publishing.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1037081 650 7 History.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/958235 650 7 Flemish newspapers.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 927214 651 7 Netherlands.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1204034 651 7 Belgium.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1210278 655 4 Electronic books. 655 7 Bibliographies.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1919895 655 7 History.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1411628 655 7 Bibliographies.|2lcgft|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ genreForms/gf2014026048 776 08 |iPrint version:|aWeduwen, Arthur der.|tDutch and Flemish newspapers of the seventeenth century, 1618-1700.|dLeiden ; Boston : Brill, 2017|z9789004317314|w(DLC) 2017004643 830 0 Library of the written word ;|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/names/no2007139859|vv 58. 830 0 Library of the written word.|pHandpress world ;|0https:// id.loc.gov/authorities/names/no2007139860|vv.43. 856 40 |uhttps://rider.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=2090928|zOnline ebook via EBSCO.
