Yet despite this renewed interest, a systematic reconsideration of Kierkegaard's existential approach is missing. This anthology is the first in a series of three that will attempt to fill this lacuna. The 13 chapters of the first anthology deal with various aspects of Kierkegaard's existential approach. Its reception will be examined in the works of influential philsophers such as Heidegger, Gadamer, and Habermas, as well as in lesser known philosophers from the interwar period, such as Jean Wahl, Lev Shestov, and Benjamin Fondane. Other chapters reconsider central notions, such as "anxiety", "existence", "imagination", and "despair". Finally, some chapters deal with Kierkegaard's relevance for central issues in contemporary philosophy, including "naturalism", "self- constitution", and "bioethics". This book is of relevance not only to researchers working in Kierkegaard Studies, but to anyone with an interest in existentialism and existential thinking. 546 In English. 588 0 Online resource; title from PDF title page (publisher's Web site, viewed May. 17, 2017). 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 650 0 Existentialism.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh85046376 650 0 Philosophy of existence. 650 7 Existentialism.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/918204 653 (Produktform)Electronic book text 653 (Zielgruppe)Fachpublikum/ Wissenschaft 653 (BISAC Subject Heading)REL051000 653 (BISAC Subject Heading)REL067080: REL067080 RELIGION / Christianity / Theology / History 653 (BISAC Subject Heading)PHI006000: PHI006000 PHILOSOPHY / Movements / Existentialism 653 (BISAC Subject Heading)PHI022000: PHI022000 PHILOSOPHY / Religious 653 Existentialismus 653 existentialistisches Denken 653 Existenzphilosophie 653 Kierkegaard 653 Kierkegaard; existential thinking; existentialism; philosophy of existence 653 (VLB-WN)9542 653 existential thinking 653 existentialism 653 philosophy of existence 653 (Produktrabattgruppe)PR: rabattbeschränkt/Bibliothekswerke 655 0 Electronic books. 655 4 Electronic books. 700 1 Grøn, Arne,|d1952-|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ n95055171 700 1 Rosfort, René.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ no2013044244 700 1 Söderquist, K.
