Twenty-two years old, he had committed no crime. He was one of millions swept up in the reign of terror that Stalin perpetrated on his own people. In the critically acclaimed Man Is Wolf to Man, Bardach recounted his horrific experiences in the Kolyma labor camps in northeastern Siberia, the deadliest camps in Stalin's gulag system. In this sequel Bardach picks up the narrative in March 1946, when he was released. 588 Description based on print version record and CIP data provided by publisher; resource not viewed. 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 600 10 Bardach, Janusz.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ n85305331 600 17 Bardach, Janusz.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 170841 650 0 Jews, Polish|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh85070505|zSoviet Union|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ names/n80126312-781|vBiography.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh99001237 650 0 Jews|zSoviet Union|vBiography.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh2008106143 650 0 Political prisoners|zSoviet Union|vBiography.|0https:// id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh2008109333 650 0 Plastic surgeons|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh85103145|zSoviet Union|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ names/n80126312-781|vBiography.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh99001237 650 7 Jews, Polish.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/983508 650 7 Jews.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/983135 650 7 Political prisoners.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1069636 650 7 Plastic surgeons.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1066518 650 7 BIOGRAPHY & AUTOBIOGRAPHY|xHistorical.|2bisacsh 650 7 HISTORY.|2bisacsh 650 7 HISTORY|zEurope|xGeneral.|2bisacsh 651 7 Soviet Union.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1210281 655 7 Biographies.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1919896 655 7 Autobiographies.|2lcgft|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ genreForms/gf2014026047 655 7 Autobiographies.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1919894 655 7 Biographies.|2lcgft|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ genreForms/gf2014026049 700 1 Gleeson, Kathleen.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ n98008027 776 08 |iPrint version:|tSurviving freedom|dBerkeley : University of California Press, c2003.|z0520237358 (Cloth : alk. paper)|w(DLC) 2002152219 856 40 |uhttps://rider.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=108417|zOnline ebook via EBSCO.
