Summary |
The Serge Prokofiev Foundation was created in 1983 and is based in Great Britain. It is a nonprofit organization that promotes research into the life and works of the Russian composer Sergey Sergeyevich Prokofiev (1891-1953). The Foundation web site provides a link to the The Serge Prokofiev Archive which was founded by the Foundation in 1994. The foundation encourages performances, broadcasts, and recordings of Prokofiev's works, and publishes a bi-annual journal, The Three Oranges Journal, begun by the now defunct Serge Prokofiev Association (merged with The Foundation in 2004). Information about membership benefits is available, as well as an online membership registration form. A newsletter gives information about events and performances in the United Kingdom, France, and the U.S., beginning in 2005. |
