This collection offers both historical and contemporary Marxist feminist analysis of how the reproduction of labor and life functions under capitalism, using Dalla Costa's insights into the vibrant and combative women's movement that emerged in Italy and across the world in the early 1970s. Since the first publication of Women and the Subversion of the Community in 1972, Dalla Costa has been a central figure in the development of autonomist thought. Her detailed research and provocative thinking deepens our understanding of the role of women's struggles for autonomy and control over their bodies and labor. 546 Some of the individual works included in the volume are English translations of works originally published in Italian. 588 0 Online resource; title from PDF title page (EBSCO, viewed January 11, 2019). 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 650 0 Feminism|zItaly.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh2008103683 650 0 Women and socialism|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85147434|zItaly.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/names/n79021783-781 650 0 Women's rights|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh85147765|zItaly.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ n79021783-781 650 7 Feminism.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/922671 650 7 Women and socialism.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1177112 650 7 Women's rights.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1178818 650 7 Feminism.|2homoit|0https://homosaurus.org/v3/homoit0000437 650 7 Women's movement.|2homoit|0https://homosaurus.org/v3/ homoit0000438 651 7 Italy.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1204565 655 4 Electronic books. 655 7 Criticism, interpretation, etc.|2fast|0https:// id.worldcat.org/fast/1411635 700 1 Cleaver, Harry,|d1944-|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ names/n78083601|ewriter of preface. 700 1 Barbagallo, Camille,|eeditor. 776 08 |iPrint version:|tWomen and the subversion of the community : a Mariarosa Dalla Costa reader.|dOakland, California : PM, 2019|h289 pages|z9781629635705|w(DLC) 2018931531 856 40 |uhttps://rider.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=1996352|zOnline ebook via EBSCO.
