Note Participants in building the El Gordo pipeline included Primary Fuels, Salomon Brothers, Houston Pipe Line Company, HNG Petrochemiicals, and Paul R. Haas, L.A. McNeil, Emmite C. Wilson of the Corpus Christi Oil and Gas Company. Paul R. Haas was a 1934 graduate of Rider College and instrumental in creating the Hass endowment for the College library.
