Among those scheduled to perform are opera stars Placido Domingo, Marilyn Horne, Jessye Norman, Leontyne Price and Samuel Ramey; pianist Alfred Brendel; violinists Midori and Isaac Stern; cellists Yo-Yo Ma and Mstislav Rostropovich; and violist Pinchas Zukerman. James Levine and Zubin Mehta share conducting duties, leading the New York Philharmonic, the Empire Brass Quintet and the New York Choral Artists.
