The leaves are divided horizontally, the upper sections containing the words, and the lower sections the music, "in such a manner that any tune may be presented to the eye with any psalm or hymn." The "Advertisement" is signed by the inventor of this "construction", Moses Elliot.
Musical selection has special t.p.: A valuable collection of sacred musick, adapted to the various metres in Watts. Exeter, J.J. Williams, printer, 1818.
