Original title: Ayres, to sing and play to the lvte and basse violl. With pauins, galliards, almaines, and corantos for the lyra violl.
For solo voice, with lute accompaniment transcribed from the tablature into modern notation for piano. The part for bass viol is omitted.
The words of nos. 9 and 11 are by Anthony Munday and Thomas Campion respectively.
