Moeser concludes that the Markan anecdotes clearly follow the definition of, and typologies for, the Greek chreia. His analysis indicates that while the content of the three sets of anecdotes is peculiar to its respective cultural setting, the Greek, Jewish and Christian examples all function according to the purposes of the genre. 588 0 Print version record. 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 630 00 Bible.|pMark|xCriticism, interpretation, etc. 630 06 Bible.|pNew Testament.|pMarc|xCritique, interprétation, etc. 630 07 Bible.|pMark.|2fast|0(OCoLC)fst01892928 650 0 Rabbinical literature|xHistory and criticism. 650 0 Classical literature|xHistory and criticism. 655 4 Electronic books. 655 7 Criticism, interpretation, etc.|2fast|0(OCoLC)fst01411635 776 08 |iPrint version:|aMoeser, Marion C.|tAnecdote in Mark, the classical world and the rabbis.|dLondon ; New York : Sheffield Academic Press, ©2002|z0826460593|w(DLC) 2002491790|w(OCoLC)50947598 830 0 Journal for the study of the New Testament.|pSupplement series ;|v227. 856 40 |uhttps://rider.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=378530|zOnline eBook.
