Most of it aims at providing the reader with theological, didactic and philosophical teachings, artistically associated with the passages of the Torah. Here and there poetic pieces are embedded into its otherwise prosaic text. Tibåt Mårqe is attributed to the 4th century scholar , philosopher and poet, Mårqe. This publication of Tibåt Mårqe follows the monumental Hebrew edition of Ze'ev Ben- Hayyim, Tibåt Mårqe, a Collection of Samaritan Midrashim (Jerusalem 1988), based on a 16th century manuscript. Though he recognized the precedence of an earlier manuscript, dated to the 14th century, Ben-Hayyim was compelled to prefer the former, given the fragmentary state of the latter. He printed its fragments in parallel with the younger one, to which his annotations and discussions chiefly pertain. With the recent discovery of a great portion of the missing parts of the 14th century manuscript, this edition endeavors to present the older form of the composition. The present book may be relevant to people interested in literature, language, religion, and Samaritan studies. 588 0 On-line resource; title from PDF title page (EBSCO, viewed January 3, 2020) 590 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America 630 00 Memar Marḳah.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ n97042124 630 00 Bible|xHermeneutics.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85013650 630 00 Bible.|pPentateuch|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ n79066420|xAramaic|xVersions|vCommentaries. 630 7 Memar Marḳah.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1787060 630 7 Bible.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1356024 630 7 Bible.|pPentateuch.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1808093 630 07 Bible.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1356024 630 07 Bible.|pPentateuch.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1808093 630 07 Memar Marḳah.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1787060 650 0 Manuscripts, Samaritan.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh87000748 650 0 Samaritan literature.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85116992 650 7 Hermeneutics.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/955492 650 7 Manuscripts, Samaritan.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/ fast/1008481 650 7 Samaritan literature.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 1104495 655 4 Electronic books. 655 7 Commentaries.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1423723 700 1 Tal, Abraham,|d1931-|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names /no2006002016|eeditor. 830 0 Studia Judaica (Walter de Gruyter & Co.) ;|0https:// id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n42029376|vBd. 92. 830 0 Studia Samaritana ;|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ n42036138|vBd. 9. 856 40 |uhttps://rider.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=2330426|zOnline ebook via EBSCO.
