Note "The present CD is the first recording of Chopin's 12 mazurkas transcribed for a voice by Pauline Viardot. Also two other transcriptions, Plainte (Sorrow) and Beau rossignol (Nightingale), included on this CD, have been recorded for the first time. So has the Stabat Mater, based on Chopin's C-minor prelude, with Polish lyrics, and Marzenie (Dream), transcription of the Prelude in A major, with Polish lyrics by Miłosz Kotarbiński"--Insert.
